Unfortunately we cannot guess your dogs neck size. As you can imagine, dogs come in all shapes and sizes! Even sending a picture or a video doesn’t help us. Measuring your dogs neck is important to getting the right size collar that specifically fits your dog.

As our chains are not adjustable, we recommend waiting until your puppy is fully grown or at least until they are in the later stages of growing. Depending on how you would like the collar to fit you could buy a size slightly larger than their expected fully grown size.

Unfortunately they cannot be adjusted. This is why we highly recommend only buying for fully grown dogs once they have been accurately measured.

All chains (except Silver) are plated 316L Stainless Steel. Due to the fact Stainless Steel is used as the base metal, it means that plating will be harder wearing than other metals.
Unfortunately as a plated product there is always the possibility of a small amount colour loss.
Please remember these chains will be susceptible to wear and tear like other products so daily use will reduce the colour and scratches can form if your dog is doing ‘dog’ things such as running through bushes or scratching themselves against walls or on the floor!

Please follow the instructions outlined on our Chain Collar Maintenance page which will help you care for your Chain.

Our gold buckles and D rings are plated so there is always the possibility of a small amount colour loss under heavy use or if exposed to lots of water and harder conditions.

Our new chains with improved clips are ideal for walking. We would however recommend a more practical collar for daily use as our chains are heavy and will show signs of wear like any other product with heavy use.

We use Stainless Steel which does not leave colouring like cheaper metals and jewellery however plated items will occasionally leave some light grey colouring which would be noticeable on white dogs. If you’re concerned about this we highly recommend choosing the Silver Chain which is just polished stainless steel so it doesn’t have any plating.

As the buckles on the Gold Series collars are plated, these items can occasionally leave some light grey/green colouring which would be noticeable on white dogs. If you’re concerned about this we highly recommend choosing a collar from our Tactical Range.
